Content Privacy

Joy is a Facebook Messenger and Slack app ("bot", “Services”) that makes it easy to track your mood and mental wellness over time. The user understands that, as for any Facebook Page, the content shared by the user to the bot is readable by any person with access rights to the Page, such as the admin team or community managers Furthermore, exchanges between the user and the bot can be monitored and logged for operational purposes as well as to improve the quality of the service. Exchanges between the user and the bot may only be published or shared in an anonymized way, for example in publications demonstrating how Joy operates. We collect usage statistics of Joy - such as number or frequency of messages. However, such statistics may only be published or shared in an aggregated, anonymized way.


Joy does not store any passwords. Access to information from your Facebook account is done only through the Facebook API, with the permissions authorized by the user. The permissions requested are the minimal set of permissions required to operate Joy.

This privacy policy may change from time to time. By continuing to access or use the services provided by Joy after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.


We do not display advertisements in any of our products, and we do not share any information with advertisers. We do, however, reserve the right to do so in the future so we may choose. We will update this privacy policy in the future to reflect these changes should they exist.
